* A beautiful, cool living space looking out on a grassy garden area. * Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed! * A large bathroom, with two showers! Hot water lasted through the end of my showers! * Quiet during the night. Bedroom window opens to an active street during the day. * Kitchen is well appointed (even an electric kettle - but no microwave). You will want to bring your own spices, condiments, oil, salt, etc. * Hosts/Manager were pleasant and available on site and thru Whats App. * I look forward to returning!

We loved our 2 weeks at Casa Aurora. It was a great location just a few blocks from the central Plaza and many great restaurants nearby. The king sized bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The interior gardens offered places to eat and sit outside. Katya and Anthony were great. and responsive to our needs and questions. No TV which we did not mind at all! Great place to read!

Nos encantó pasar unas noches aquí, el jardín es bonito y la cocina muy amplia.Paula Ximena Campos Excelente ubicacion, la casita esta preciosa y super pintoresca. Muy de acuerdo con Ajijic. Estuvimos agustisimo, los host super amables y pendientes todo el tiempo. Puntos extras porque hay una michi preciosa super amigable. Definitivamente regreso!

I had lovely peaceful stay at Casa Aurora . The hotel is private , quite and well kept . The rooms are all unique, and they offer a variety of choices to meet your needs. The garden is lovely offering calmness and tranquility. The owners and staff are kind and respectful and will respond quickly to your request. I will stay again and look forward to it. thank you

We enjoyed the charming casita very much. It is surrounded by lovely gardens, tastefully decorated and has high ceilings. Everyone, including the kitty, in the property was welcoming and felt like friends right away. Location was perfect for walking around, too. Katya, the owner, is a talented and multifaceted healer and well worth booking a session with. We loved our stay.

Great location near everything. Beautiful space. You don’t feel like you’re exposed to the city at all. The cat is sweet, the vibes are good, really nice layout to the casita. There are a lot of windows which is awesome. There is an area between roof and walls remains open so we felt a bit exposed in that regard as far as the noice goes. This was really our only concern. I would definitely stay here again.

Casa Aurora was a perfect place to land in to get to know the charming town of Ajijic. It was peaceful and yet secluded, with lovely outdoor seating and gardens to relax in. It was in the perfect location to get everywhere I wanted on foot or by bus when I went to other nearby towns. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts or fellow tenants. They were all friendly, helpful and kind hearted.

Anthony was an amazing host- warm, helpful, available; he seems to effortlessly make every person feel like the most important person there. The place is in a great location- easy walk to the shops, restaurants, plaza & even the Lake is just a few blocks away. The space is a great combination of homey & soulful & also super well-maintained. Every lock and door-latch works perfectly, every wall and gate is newly painted. As an Airbnb host myself with a property in Mexico, I know exactly what it takes to maintain that standard & I was super-impressed. Lastly, when I had to wait between check-out time at Aurora & check-in time at my next place, Anthony generously offered to store my bags & even allowed me to use the common spaces to hang out. The whole experience was top-notch, start to finish. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
